Happy First Birthday to Weavers Door

Independent Menswear Store Weaver’s Door is celebrating a successful first year in business by throwing an all-singing, all-dancing birthday bash on Thursday 6th October.

Friends of Weavers Door will be treated to live music from up and coming Liverpool band The Loud and Liverpool solo artist Johnny Sands who will both perform acoustic sets whilst guests enjoy food, drink and banter from 6pm -10pm at the store in Liverpool’s Cavern Walks shopping centre.

After the in-store festivities, an after party will be held at Santa Chupitos, Slater Street, where friends of the store will continue to celebrate the store reaching the landmark occasion.

Store manager Lee Fleming said: “Weaver’s Door has been born from a desire to offer the finest menswear apparel. In a world swamped with poor quality goods, we can only survive if we seek to inspire and be inspired by championing "true brands", who lead the way in design and craftsmanship and that break the rules.”

The store’s ethos of authenticity, quality and heritage has been translated into the brands they stock, such as Barbour, Baracuta, Gloverall, Grenson, and Edwin Japan who all have a story and a history behind them. Newcomers Norse Projects, Folk Clothing and Universal Works have also been had a great reception from fashion lovers in Liverpool.

Lee Fleming added: “The recession has hit retail hard so we are really proud to be celebrating our first birthday and a successful year in business and would like to thank everyone for their support.  We look forward to celebrating with all our good customers, friends and family into the early hours and hope they will continue to support us for many years to come.”
