Milly swimwear makes a splash at Cricket

Cavern Walks designer retailer Cricket is welcoming the arrival of the new swimwear collection by New York luxury label Milly.

The iconic brand, known for its exquisite prints and colours, has produced a collection inspired by Peggy Guggenheim, setting the tone for an eclectic mix of feminine florals, bold geometrics and colourful stripes. Classic halterneck shapes are combined with bandeau tops with chain, rope, wood and resin detailing.

Cricket store owner Justine Mills said: “The collection is sophisticated and glamorous with a retro vibe, and has great combinations of pattern, texture and colour. Milly make fantastic, well-cut swimwear that suits almost all body shapes – the high cut on their bikini bottoms is great for helping elongate the legs.”

Michelle Smith, the talented designer behind the brand, has a devoted worldwide following including celebrities such as Gwenyth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Beyonce and Thandie Newton.
