POP-UP GALLERY TO CELEBRATE CAVERN WALKS 25 BIRTHDAY

A pop-up gallery featuring work by two Merseyside artists will celebrate Cavern Walks 25th birthday on Saturday 02 May and be displayed in the centre for the whole of May.

Gary Beach’s creates artwork that depicts Liverpool city centre. His gallery in Cavern Walks, brought in partnership with dot-art gallery, focus on the “Beatles Quarter”, the streets around the designer shopping centre. Meanwhile Helene Gilmour’s contemporary prints bring out Cavern Walks’ funky, feminine character. The artwork will be displayed next to previously unseen sketches and photographs by David Backhouse, the architect of Cavern Walks.
